In addition to skiing and other winter activities, take advantage of summer activities like biking and fall foliage from Rivendell as well. Regardless of the time of year, this home provides easy access to numerous mountain activities. This stunning seven bedroom provides easy access to skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, and snow tubing. Enjoy National Championship mountain bike trails with something for every skill level in the summer. Just a fifteen (15) minute drive away, the Beech Mountain Buckeye Recreation Center offers fantastic hiking and a large playground, along with fishing, canoeing, and paddle boating. Dining on Beech Mountain includes some local favorites like the Mile High Tavern, the Brick Oven Pizzeria, and Alpen Restaurant, to name a few. A few miles down the mountain is the town of Banner Elk, with groceries, gas stations, and shopping. The main level features a great room overlooking the slopes and boasts leather furniture situated around the stone wood burning fireplace and big screen mounted TV. The spacious kitchen is perfect for hosting a full house. The large stainless side by side fridge in the kitchen is backed up by a second stainless side by side fridge and separate ice maker located in the nearby laundry room. Gather together for joyous meals at the big round table with seating for fourteen to sixteen with an additional nearby table for four and kitchen island seating for four providing seating for all twenty-two guest in the same space.
