Purdon Groves is a twenty acre working farm, made up of pastureland, woods, and ponds. In addition to the glamping tent there are three other glamping structures on site. We have a converted school bus, a bell tent, and another wall tent. If you are interested in inquiring about any of these glamping structures please let us know! The layout of the property allows guests to be secluded in a peaceful setting. We are a true farm stay! Most of our animals - rescue donkeys, chickens, French ducks, sheep, geese - are free ranging. All animals, including our heritage pigs, are friendly and approachable. We’ve got so many things for you to enjoy at Purdon Groves that will leave you with cherished memories and a desire to return again and again! Purdon Groves Retreat in Texas is a serene and secluded haven nestled within lush groves. Surrounded by natural beauty, it offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of Waco and Dallas Texas. With its tranquil atmosphere and abundant wildlife, it's the perfect destination for relaxation and reconnecting with nature. We are located only twenty minutes from the town of Corsicana. Corsicana is becoming a hub for the arts and has plenty to see including galleries, museums, and beautiful architecture. There are many restaurants and places to shop in the town.
