At Grand Targhee Resort, "snow comes from heaven, not hoses" for downhill and cross-country skiing; summertime hiking off the lift is now joined by a mountain bike park for cross-country and downhill cyclists. The Ashton-Tetonia "Rails to Trails" bike path runs nearly thirty miles through barley fields and aspen copses across five bridges and restored rail trestles. In Driggs, get oriented to the area at the National Geographic Geo-center, climb at the Teton Rock Gym, rent gear at Peaked, Yostmark, or Habitat, enjoy live music at Music on Main, the Bluegrass Festival, and the Friday farmer's market--the list is long and growing.
