You are welcome to make our home yours during your stay and hope you like the modern look, the high ceilings and the elevated position making the rooms cool even on the hottest days. With solar panels and batteries there is no longer any issue with load shedding and has transformed our house into a very eco friendly place to stay. Comfortably furnished and newly built we spend a lot of time in the back garden or on the front porch which overlooks the valley. Green Pastures is a very quiet, safe and spacious area far enough outside Knysna to feel like you are in the country but only a few minutes drive away to the Waterfront and popular restaurants. We have a new nature trail above the estate which can be accessed just behind our home. Ideal for a stroll or dog walk and has a couple of benches looking over the forest and lagoon. We have a Weber for cooking outside and inside a simple convection hob and a micro/oven combo, fridge/freezer and washing machine. Check in is easy as we have a key safe with the keys in for your convenience. Its the perfect place to enjoy the outdoors as well as having so much free space around our home and neighbourhood. We welcome dogs for a small additional fee , we just ask that you don’t allow them on the furniture , leave them unattended and to collect any dirt from the garden . We don’t have a fence round the house.

Our home is on the outskirts of Knysna which we built because firstly Knysna is one of the friendliest places in South Africa, secondly, it has the sea and with it amazing restaurants and cafes and thirdly, our spot is super tranquil and as we live to be outdoors if we aren't sitting on the front balcony with a pot of tea or glass of wine, we are just up the road running or cycling in Knysna forest. We are both competitive runners and cyclists so can put you in touch with any number of groups going out for both social and training rides as well as an excellent Pilates class in town. We want more people to fall in love with the place like we have so when we aren't here we are happy to let others make it their home

The neighbourhood is safe and very peaceful, even the family of guinea fowl are relaxed here! There is a new nature trail of around 1km just behind our home with beautiful views of the forest and lagoon. We have CCTV and a security contract with All Sound round the whole estate. Just up the road is the well known Simola Golf Course with a spa, gym and pool available for non residents and we are a stones throw away from the Simola Hill Climb which takes part in May. Above Simola are a whole network of marked forest tracks in Knysna forest that are safe to use and popular for trail running, hiking and lots of single track for mountain biking as well as the Gouna Valley. Just down the road is the Lagoon for swimming, fishing and other water sports. The Farm, a very popular tea garden and play area is just around the corner and has a monthly market, and Muse, a lively restaurant and bar is a 1km or so away. There is also a very popular Friday Market a few km away with a large variety of food and wine to enjoy.
