Thank you for looking at Walker Bay Manor Mansion. We do our utmost to make guests feel at home. Your host, Marijke, is both of the Dutch and Swiss nationality and speaks several other languages. She enjoys connecting with people and will do the utmost to make you feel at home and make the best out of your stay!

The Mansion is a charming building from the 50's which has undergone several renovations and updates inspired by the creativity of Marijke, your host. It is across the street from the famous Cliff Path, the best spot in the world for whale watching from the shore, and just around the corner of the popular 27-hole Hermanus Golf Course. The village center and beautiful Grotto Beach are just a few minutes drive away. There are elevated terraces with a partial sea view and overlooking the lovely garden and swimming pool. The guesthouse is situated in Eastcliff/Kwaaiwater one of the better areas in Hermanus. Parking is off-street in front of the guesthouse.

Our guest house is 20 meters from the famous 12 km Cliff Path, stretching from one end of Hermanus to the other, ending at the beautiful Grotto Beach. It provides on of the best whale-watching vantage points in the world. Whales can be viewed frolicking as close as ten meters from shore. A walk along the cliff path is a must for visitors all year round. Whale sighting can be virtually guaranteed between July and the end of November. The Hermanus Country market (Saturday's - and in summer also on Wednesday evenings) is close by and so is Fernkloof Nature Reserve, for a beautiful hike on the mountain. A grocery shop and chemist are 2 minutes drive from the guesthouse. Around the corner, at walking distance, is the popular and beautiful Hermanus Golf course with 27 holes. A lovely Saturday local market with crafts and goodies is just a few minutes away. Also the Fernkloof nature reserve with its enormous plant and birds varieties, is only a few minutes drive from our guest house. Our neighborhood is residential with beautiful houses at the seaside.
