Nice place to stay for one night. Very kind host, who was Very helpful. Very Nice and clean, and after a Long drive, it was possible to get some food. Breakfast ok Parking just outside and for free. Good Value for money.

I have a policy that I normally do not rate things online. I generally like my hosts and I do not want to harm their business. Still, I want my reviews to be honest and helpful to others. This creates a tension where I enjoyed my experience but there was still room for improvement, at least in my mind. In this case, I enjoyed my experience so thoroughly, I have no hesitation in sharing my honest feelings: the accommodation and the host are both thoroughly charming and delightful. I have no thoughts for improvement.

The hotel was very old and quirky, but the restaurant was yummy. Lovely garden bar and seemed popular with locals. Always a good sign. The staff were so helpful when we had a situation and had to stop over an additional night. Especially Maria - she was a real star bless her!
