Loved this 300 year old house, set in quiet suburban street in a village. Easy to find and parking on site. Our rooms were comfortable and big. I think better than portrayed in the photos. Our host was welcoming and informative. We found a local restaurant for a good evening meal and a superb breakfast at the accommodation in the morning. Would recommend this guest house. About 20 minutes drive from Fussen / Neuschwanstein castle.

The surroundings were so much more peaceful than I imagined, also given a cottage kind of vibe. Really liked the view from the balcony and the staff’s were so friendly and welcoming.

These apartments in Füssen offer free WiFi, a large garden and great views of the Allgäu Alps. Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles are a 5-minute drive away.

The staff are super nice and helpful. Even we check out late, they call back us and lead us to the rooms. We can have a local beer and a chat at late night. The breakfast is wonderful and fulfilling. We have a great time at Gasthof zum Hirsch.

The breakfast was excellent and accommodations also excellent. I have stayed at this property on 4 different occasions (1990, 2001, 2003, and 2023). I will be back for sure. This property is within walking distance of everything. I would not seek to stay anywhere else.

Cafe Maria - Pension - B&B is set in Rieden am Forggensee, 31 km from Garmisch-Partenkirchen and 40 km from Oberstdorf. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant.
