It’s a very easy walk from the auberge to the public area at the lakefront, as well as to the Magazin (a nice little general store with great baked goods), and various historic spots. There is no shortage of scenic photo ops close by! On a clear night, be sure to visit the little nearby park where you can look up at the stars from benches intentionally built with reclined backs to make stargazing more comfortable.
