Heidi, the owner, greeted us and made sure everything was great for our stay. She gave excellent advice about restaurants and we chose the Panarama Restaraunt - the BEST meal and view ever! Heidi is very organized and keeps the breakfast room tidy and well stocked. This is a small hotel right in a farming community. So neat to see the milk farmers drop off their milk to the small processing plant across from the hotel! Great area for hiking and biking.

Although I was only spending nights (2) in the hotel and didn’t have time for breakfast I really enjoyed it. The room is spacious and very clean, the cleaning lady does a fantastic work. Hotel staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. Small details like every day a fresh carafe of water, a welcome card and snacks are really lovely. There is a free parking lot for the guests in a underground garage and you can get for free (tourist travel card for trains and buses free of charge) to Basel, which takes about 20 minutes. The train station is located only few minutes from the hotel. I can highly recommend this place!
