Hostal Solor is located in a picturesque house 10 minutes walk from downtown and only 2 blocks from the bus terminal and the cultural centre of San Pedro de Atacama. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Tehy did not speak English, but using our phones for translation, we had great communication. The hostal is nice and cosy. We had an apartment, not a room.

With a 10 minute walk from the centre, this hostel is great. The rooms are clean and the beds very warm with a good duvet. The communal space and kitchen are great, there is lots of space to sit and even a small fireplace. You can store food and cook in the kitchen, there is everything you need including cutlery, plates, etc. The water for showering is extremely warm and the shower is very big. The Wi-Fi works super well. We stayed in one of the upstairs rooms and the views are great over the mountains.
