The place is gorgeous and lovely, bordering a beautiful beach of black sand and also hidden in the selva.The rooms are very comfortable. There are also lots of spaces to relax on hammocks. And the best of all: Francis, the owner, is welcoming, warm, always here to help, and an amazing chef! The food he cooks and the cocktails he makes are delicious. This is the place to stay in Arusí.

We had an amazing time at Posada Madre Tierra, and would recommend anyone to stay here. We speak very little Spanish but Carlos and Teresa were incredibly kind and generous and made us feel part of the family. The homemade food and juices were simply incredible, we left with full hearts and stomachs! All of the pets were very cute too, it was so wonderful to experience a home that truly cared about their natural environment around them and learn about the history and surroundings. Staying here was a true highlight of our South America trip.

We loved this place!! Only a 30 second walk from a beautiful beach (el Almejal) , you can see the sea from the terrace, you can hear the waves when you sleep. The kitchen is really well equipped, we cooked lots of fish that we bought from the fishermen in the village !! Angelica and Santiago are lovely hosts, very attentive and caring. The house is sooo charming, you feel right at home. We will definitely recommend this place to anyone who comes to the Pacific and we would love to come back :) Best option in the area, very central for any activities or to get to any other tourist spots in this area.

We absolutely loved our stay! Celmira and her family were so nice and made sure we had everything we needed and were safe when we went on excursions (nearby town with Thermal water and little bars and shops (30min walking), and a waterfall (1,5h walking). The food was incredible, we're still talking about it haha. Super chill area, not much to do but relax and enjoy the moment. Stayed for 3 nights which was the perfect length. The property is really small, we were the only guests, which was nice after a few weeks of travelling. Loved the down-to-earth vibe with bucket showers and honest conversations with the hosts.

We had such a lovely stay, this place is absolutely magical. Such a special place on the edge of this beautiful little village and the walk through the river, up the stream and into the jungle made it even more magical. A beautiful cabin, (the photos do not do it justice) and a shower under the stars. Valentina, the host, is so kind and welcoming, she made us feel so at home. Could not recommend this place more if you want simple living off the beaten track. Wish we could have stayed longer!

The Posada exceeded our expectations and contributed largely to the amazing trip we had my two friends and I. Enrique is an incredible manager that can take care of all the bookings you need (activities such as scuba diving, blue wales experience, visit to the Utria parc, and all the transports) which allow you to feel very comfortable during your stay. The rooms and location are perfect, the food there is really good (breakfast, pizzas..) and the kindness of Enrique and its staff is a real +. Thank you for everything !
