I have always wanted to stay in this Hotel since I read the book as a child so many years ago. I often past the hotel since then and occasionally had a coffee or a meal, but never stayed. I liked the atmosphere, the personnel and the meals. The free parking was another benefit.

The staff were so friendly and the room was amazing, really clean and bright and so quiet. The food was delicious and served on hot plates! The location was perfect for the Scillonian to and from The Isles of Scilly.

Set in the picturesque Cornish village of Mitchell, The Plume of Feathers is a historic 16th Century dining pub with rooms. Gorgeous grounds, gardens, room and common spaces. Warm and welcoming. Decorated beautifully and well appointed. The food portions are generous - each meal was exceptional in both presentation and flavor. Staff are warm and welcoming. Room was impeccably clean, bed was like a cloud, tub is the stuff of dreams. Five stars!
