We were in the area for one night and were delighted to find this gem! We live in Germany so staying in a country pub/hotel is always a treat for us, and this did not disappoint. We have 2 little dogs who were very welcome in both the pub and the room (and were even given treats and a cheeky sausage by the wonderful staff!). Our check in was smooth and we were able to book a table for dinner with ease. The staff were all super attentive and engaging. The room was comfortable and was everything we needed - even if the bed was a tad small, it still provided us with a solid nights sleep. However, without a doubt, the pinnacle of this stay was the food!! It was EXCEPTIONAL! And this is not exceptional for a pub, it was exceptional compared to anything! The duck was genuinely one of the best cooked and tastiest we’ve ever had! We’ve already recommended it to people and we are seeing how we can visit again on our next visit. Whether you stay for a night or not, the food HAS to be tried! Book a table and thank us later!

A lovely pub /Inn, Graham and Sue were amazing. On arrival I was greeted with a warm welcome. The staff knew my name which was very nice..The room exceeded my expectations, it was very clean.The bar service and food was outstanding. Graham and Sue treated me like family and nothing was too much trouble, they went above and beyond. They are the loveliest hosts ever and had the pleasure to meet., 10/10..❤️❤️❤️

Ubicado en Newton Abbot, Barn Owl Inn cuenta con un jardín, restaurante, bar y WiFi gratis en toda la propiedad. Great staff who provided excellent service whenever required. Room was spacious, warm and well appointed. Cleanliness was another positive. All in all....very pleased 😀

Great food served! remember to make dinner reservations before arriving there is little else close by. Dinner is amazing! Loved the whole quaint pub/Inn vibe!

El Red Lion, situado en la localidad de Broadclyst, a las afueras de Exeter, ofrece un jardín. La posada está a unos 7 km del estadio de rugby Sandy Park y a 6 km del Westpoint Arena. This lovely historic is lovely. The rooms are nicely furnished and the bathrooms are modern. The breakfast had a variety of options, and did the dinner. All of the staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We enjoyed staying in the village of Broadclyst, which is a short bus ride to and from Exeter. There is a nice walk that explores the local countryside, and the church is an historic beauty.

Thoroughly recommend the mushroom and truffle Arancini for a starter for dinner and the mushroom toast for breakfast. The rooms were clean and comfortable ! Loved it and Tavistock !
