The location is picturesque and authentic, yet modern. View was amazing and staff nice & proactive. The restaurant downstairs was surprinsingly good - reservation needed, different management. Would come back.

Locanda Osteria Marascia is located in a tranquil area in Calolziocorte, 5 minutes’ drive from Lake Garlate. Everything the waiter especially expectional and a credit to the place lovely hopefully visit again and good spot to explore Como and the areas

This place is like a heaven on earth. We stayed 5 nights in a room named Renzo and Lucia which was decorated very nicely. The 4 poster bed was really comfortable. The room was quite big. There were 2 large armchairs where we sat and watch the amazing view from the room's large windows. The bathroom was really spacious and had the same amazing lake view with the room. The hosts were so nice, we had breakfast only one time but the cook took care of us personally. The gardens were so beautiful, surrounded by trees, singing birds, amazing lake views and unforgetable moments. We had a really pleasant stay at Antica Locanda La Tinara del Belvedere. I strongly recommend this place especially for a romantic getaway ;)

A 5 minute bus ride from the Lecco bus and train station. There’s a metro station just across the property but be warned it’s not in use anymore. The property is walking distance from a Lake Como area where you can spend the evening in beautiful ambience. We were on a 3 day trip to visit Lake Como towns like Como , Varenna , Bellagio etc.The location of Valmadrera is at one end of the lake. But, the rates of this property are very reasonable and cannot be matched in other lake Como towns.Besides , you can experience lake Como within walking distance ! Also, Lecco has connecting trains to every lake Como town. The family managing the property is super helpful, though only the young lady ( daughter ) can manage English. They even offered to drop us at Lecco train station at the end of our stay, which was touching.

One night stay -nothing to complian about-was super good and convenient. Food in the restaurant though deserves its own line - it was pure magic and lifetime experience!!!
