This is a best place to stay in Kyoto! Owners are extremely nice, polite and their homemade cooking and baking is heavenly! Do yourself a favor and book breakfast with them. We spent 4 night at this place and I couldn’t be happier. Room are cozy and spacious for Japanese standards, position of the place is nearby subway station and near 7-eleven. Mattress of the bed was nice and firm, wifi, hot water reliable, and the whole place for spotless clean. I wish the owners only the best customers!

The guest room was wonderful, clean and quiet. The bath is also really enjoyable after a good walking day. You also have everything you need if you want to drink or eat something. The location is perfect to visit Kyoto. Till you respect the rules, your stay will be unforgetable. At last, a really Big Thank to Takase for his kindness and everything he did to make our stay so incredible.

Perfect location. This was such a cool hotel and lots of details were meticulously chosen for the vibe. The staff was helpful and friendly. They downplayed their English abilities when asked, but their English was excellent. There is a laundry on site which can be helpful for packing light. The room was spacious, maybe around a standard US room size, with a spacious shower. There is a little outdoor cafe right outside and this hotel is just steps away from many historic streets. This hotel was truly unique.
