SpainWe really enjoyed our stay in Kalix Riverside Inn. It is a unique family owned swedish place where a lot of effort and care has been put in. We stayed in the house on top of the hill with a shared sauna in front. Room and bathroom were very clean, decoration was very original with a great vintage taste and kitchen was super well equipped, including oil, salt, tea and basics which are always a really nice detail.
The hosts are very kind, providing us many self made booklets of things to do around the area. Breakfast was great with views to the river and the bird life. We also loved dinner in the evening. Products are local and were delicious. We would really recommend staying here for an authentic nature experience supporting family owned businesses! Hopefully we can come back in the summer!
