Our December stay at Villa Paadar was truly unforgettable and exceeded all our expectations. Nestled in a serene, snow-covered landscape, the villa offered an unparalleled combination of luxury, privacy, and comfort, making it the perfect destination for a winter retreat. The peacefulness of the secluded location allowed us to fully disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and immerse ourselves in the beauty of nature. The villa itself was immaculate and thoughtfully equipped with high-quality amenities. The electric sauna was a highlight—perfect for warming up after exploring the icy surroundings—and the outdoor jacuzzi on the deck was absolutely breathtaking. Relaxing in the bubbling hot water, surrounded by a quiet forest blanketed in snow, was a surreal experience. It felt like a scene straight out of a winter postcard, and we spent hours just soaking in the stunning views and crisp air. The interior of the villa was just as impressive. The attention to detail made it feel warm and welcoming, from the beautifully decorated Christmas tree glowing in the window to the cozy fireplace that created a perfect ambiance. It truly felt like a home away from home, but with a luxurious touch. Every corner of the villa was spotless, and the furniture and decor were of the highest standard. One thing that stood out was the hospitality of the host. Their regular, friendly check-ins ensured that we had everything we needed and felt completely taken care of throughout our stay. This level of attentiveness added a personal touch that made our visit even more special. That said, the villa is quite remote, which is part of its charm, but it’s essential to have a car. Inari, a quaint village about 27 minutes away, has a few restaurants, a souvenir shop, gas stations, and grocery stores. For more extensive options, Ivalo is about an hour’s drive. We recommend stocking up on supplies on your way to the villa to fully enjoy the peaceful seclusion once you arrive.

Great for seclusion, away from the main tourist areas. Couple that own facilities are extremely friendly and attentive.

This is our standard against which we will evaluate all other places in northern Lapland. Unbelievable. It has both a minimalist vibe while providing everything you need. We even approached Tero about buying the place. Superbly sited, quiet, northern lights on both the front and back of the house, a reasonably short drive to buy provisions in Inari or hike around Lemmenjoki.

Amazing place, everything was provided even tiniest details were available, the view was incredible and worths visiting both in summer and winter, definitely one of my best stays I have ever had, I have been to enormous number of five star hotels and resorts all around the world and I would definitely say that my stay in Upea villa Lapin Kulta was definitely one of the best experiences I have ever had, will definitely come back

The views were incredible. We loved the large windows, and that we could see the aurora and beautiful sunrises from the bed. The sauna was perfect. The decor in the living room was very nice.
