Absolutely everything. Booked this as a surprise weekend for my partners birthday and we already can’t wait to come back. Everywhere spotless, comfiest bed ever, hot tub easy to use, amazing location and the best and easiest communication I’ve had. The fridge was fully stocked with drinks including beer and prosecco which is such a lovely touch, they also decorated for my partners birthday free of charge. They clearly really care about what they do and definitely go above and beyond. If you’re considering booking to stay here just do it!!!

I stayed at this hotel as a teacher with my colleagues and 21 students while visiting and exploring the north of England on a school trip. We were really satisfied with everything - the location, the facilities in the hotel - there is a swimmming pool and a gym too - great not just for students. We had half board - the food was excellent, there was a large selection for breakfast and a substantial evening meal as well, which we all really enjoyed. But most of all, we appreciated the approach of the staff - everyone was welcoming, ready to help straight away with any of our inquiries or questions and always very polite and kind. We'll definitely come back again.

A perfect few days away was had by both of us. The location is perfect. The accommodation was perfect. We occupied a 2 bedroom apartment, No 53. A ground floor apartment most suitable for the wife who has mobility issues. Couldn't fault it. Spacious, clean, and comfortable. Sleeping arrangements were a large double bed, 2 single beds, and a sofa bed in the open plan living room. It is a great size for a large group. Loved the shower room, another generous sized room. We didn't take advantage of the swimming pool or the restaurant, but both looked appealing. Booking definitely recommended for the restaurant, in advance of your journey. Thurnham Hall, superb building with the added bonus of having history. The receptionist was more than helpful during our booking in. Due to the wife's mobility issues, we were given an apartment on the ground floor as we had originally been given an apartment that required access via stairs. It was a wonderful gesture that made the break even better. It was great that the receptionist went out of his way to find us and give us the good news. So thank you. Will certainly revisit.
