I’ve been delaying writing this review as it deserves some time and more than just a 5 star rating. I don't know where to begin to describe how wonderful this place is. In pictures looked very nice, but when we got there and saw it in person was next level. It honestly felt like we were on vacation in another country. We stayed in mid-August, at the "Cascade" apartment (I highly recommend to pay more to have the terrace, which by the way has a lot of forest in front of it and a stream that provides an incomparable sensation of tranquility.) As for the interior of the apartment, everything is taken care of in detail. You have everything you could need and with a modern, practical and beautiful decoration. It’s super clean aswell. We also asked to add an special decor on the room (heart balloons, petals etc, all put together beautiful when we arrived!), and booked a hot tub cabin, which is available for you to go freely from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The way back at night from the cabin to the apartment is just magical. We also highly value privacy, and we didn't see anyone from the other apartments in the entire stay other than the receptionist when we did the check in. (The attention of the lady at the reception was also excellent. Very professional, respectful and friendly) This place has been an amazing find. We will definitely be back and I will recommend it to everyone I know. Very happy. Thank you.

I loved its history, it’s quaintness and ‘coziness’ with only 37 rooms. The personal service was second to none and the staff were outstandingly efficient, helpful, friendly and kind; nothing was too much trouble. My room was very comfortable and extremely clean. The breakfasts were also superb with quick service. A terrific start to my holiday. Thank you very much Old Mill Hotel.

Great facilities - well equipped kitchen, plenty of bathrooms for a large group, bar room with pool table, hot tub and a very handy dog shower. Extra touches such as Xmas decorations and dog treats were a nice surprise. Lovely walks round the reservoirs straight from the door. Plenty of parking for several cars. Very responsive and helpful host.

The lodge was perfect. we got there a tad early & bumped into a lovely Australian cleaner Janice (i think). She was so lovely & apologetic for still being there. We wanted her to stay with us.. she deserves a nice Christmas bonus 😉. absolute credit to your venue. Everything is done to a very high standard of quality... absolutely stunning inside the lodge & the scenery up there is picturesque even in winter 😀

The surroundings are beautiful, leafy, green, just out of town, the place has old and newer sections and we were in the lovely, old section -two spacious, cimdy rooms with a large bathroom between. Great breakfast too!
