The hotel is arranged like a tiny village where everybody has their own private space. It is beautifully located high above the ionian sea, offering breathtaking sunsets on the balcony and on the terrace restaurant. the staff (from manager to the waitresses) were unbelievably polite and welcoming. We really felt at home! the restaurant is also excellent and we found nothing better in the Areopoli surroundings. For equally delicious food, you will have to travel to Stoupa or Kardamili ;-) In summary, a dream of a hotel, 100% recommendable! Dare to stay more than just two nights - we had never stayed longer in hotels before and we loved the laid back feeling of having a "home" for an entire week. Our 5 month old baby was also lovingly taken care of - the kitchen offered to make fresh fruit- or vegetable purees so he could try his first solid foods.

Kastro Maini is located in the heart of the historic Areopolis, in central Mani. The traditional stone-built building features a pool with hydromassage and a pool for children.

We absolutely adored our stay here! The apartment is in such a charming area with fantastic taverns nearby. It was impeccably clean and so thoughtfully equipped. We really appreciated the little touches like the olive oil, vinegar, coffee, sugar, ice block bags, and straws – it felt like everything had been considered. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The location itself is perfect, with a stunning local beach and so many beautiful spots to explore within a 20-minute drive, including the famous shipwreck. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful
