We spent one night here on our way back from our Hokkaido trip. As always JR Inn hotels meet every expectation and offer great value at an affordable price. We were also able to book a taxi with the help from the hotel for our trip to the airport next morning. It would be helpful also if they let customers know about airport schedules. E.g. the international check-in does no open until 6:30.

Gorgeous location on the lake. Isolated from the world. Price value was good. Incredible Breakfast: make sure to try the hokkaido specialties. Staff is very nice. They don't speak much English but have endless patience speaking with phone translators. They offer a free shuttle bus to hotel guests. To get to the hotel from lake shikotsu village at 15:30 and 17:30. And to leave the hotel at 9am and 10am.

Staff was amazingly friendly. Food was delicious and able to accommodate for dietary restrictions. The dinners are beautiful and gives a great view of the sunset across the lake.

Theres no breakfast. The onsen is nice. Room is nice and comfy. Underground heating is warm.
