She gave me a very detailed introduction to the hotel and everything in the surrounding area, from restaurants and shops to transport options, and she also took the time to share interesting aspects of Japanese culture, which made my trip much more meaningful. I am very grateful for her exceptional care and attention and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a welcoming, informative experience in Japan.

The cabin is in a lovely location & it is easy to travel round the area by bus. The only thing to note if staying without a car is that the closest supermarket is a 25min bus ride away.

Aside from the view, the service left a lasting impression for us. Check-in was smooth. We didn't even have to leave the car and were guided straight into our designated parking lot and escorted to our dome. The staff was very detailed in explaining all the check-in and out procedures as well as dining info and the facilities. We opted for the package that includes the BBQ dinner. Everything was provided for, including breakfast. The food tasted great and wasn't repetitive. The attention to detail was impeccable, and we had a very enjoyable 2 nights. The facilities were very modern and provided almost everything that you needed from bluetooth speakers to a portable projector for your movies.

We stayed at Sengokuhara Onsen Ryokan for 4 nights and had a very pleasant stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the onsen was a great way to relax after a day of exploring Hakone. The apartment was comfortable and clean, and the location made it easy to access many of the area's attractions by bus. One thing to be aware of is that the ryokan is located close to the main road, so there can be some traffic noise from passing cars and buses, especially during the day. It wasn't a major issue for us, but light sleepers may notice it. Also, there is no sidewalk along parts of the road near the property, so walking requires some extra caution, particularly when cars are passing by or after dark. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the hospitality, comfortable accommodations, and convenient location. It was a good base for exploring Hakone and experiencing the local onsen culture.

Loved staying here! It's surrounded by nature but still really convenient for getting to the attractions and train stations. The house has a beautiful traditional feel that made the stay especially relaxing and charming. It was so peaceful listening to the rain and watching the greenery outside from bed. Such a wonderful experience!
