Easy to find and good parking directly in front of the B&B. The apartment (as it is a lot more than but a 1 room B&B) looked fantastic on our arrival at 21:00 at night. Beautiful soft and warm lighting made it feel very welcoming. We were very impressed with the attention to detail that this couple put into their property. They have put a lot of love and care into getting every detail perfect. A Very comfortable bed where we both slept very well was followed by an AMAZING breakfast !!! Far more than we could eat... We were there in winter so we could not really use the private patio in the garden but I can imagine that having breakfast out there would be a beautiful and VERY memorable experience. I look forward to booking again as this little diamond would make an ideal base of operations from which to explore the northern area of the Netherlands.

Really nice B&B with all commodities: a lot of space, nicely decorated, yummy and abondant breakfast. The hosts are really nice and gave a great welcome. Possible dinner right around the corner. Really recommended, nice place to visit around.

We only booked Nest B&B for one night while visiting Friesland for a couple of days, but looking back, we really should have stayed longer to enjoy the amazing wellness facilities. I honestly can’t say enough good things about this place. From the moment we arrived, I felt totally at ease — like we’d discovered a little oasis of calm and comfort. The house is absolutely beautiful, blending old charm with modern design. The use of wood and steel throughout gives it a really stylish yet cozy feel. Our room was peaceful, beautifully decorated, and the beds were super comfortable — we slept like a dream. Make sure to book the breakfast! It was incredible: fresh, local, and clearly prepared with a lot of care and passion. Mathijs, the owner, is a wonderful host — warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about health and well-being. He goes out of his way to make sure your stay is as pleasant and relaxing as possible. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape with a personal touch, this is the place.
