Excellent location if you are looking for a quiet environment on the road leading to many levadas. Most of Madeira is easily accessible including the sandy Calheta beach nearby but you'll need a rental car that goes up the steep hills. Apartment is well equipped though the kitchen is a bit small, okay for some fish & steak, probably not for big family cooking. No windows or ocean view from the apartment but you just walk outside to the garden and there you have it: the ocean, the sunset and vegetables to use for cooking. Our host was very friendly and helpful with the ever changing weather and things to do. Highly recommended for two people.

We had a wonderful stay at Rochão Village. The accommodation is nestled in the hills, offering beautiful views and complete privacy. It’s the perfect place to disconnect from daily life. The apartment was very clean and fully equipped—there was nothing we missed during our stay. Catarina, the host, was incredibly helpful throughout and made us feel special. Thank you so much; we will definitely be back!

The house is in a calm street and has a beautiful view over the ocean. There is all equipment one might need. We enjoyed also the rooftop terrace having also a jacuzzi. Gustavo was very helpful providing info about the area and things to see. The nearby restaurant he suggested had excellent food!

Luxurious house, super-comfy beds, nice views, hot tub and an option of the garage in the house, if you have a car.

An excellent house. We arrived very late at night and they were waiting for us. Messages replied very quickly. The house is amazing: very clean, has anything you need and the rooms are exceptional like in a hotel. They left a welcoming basket and the bathrooms have toiletries too. Beds very comfortable and lots of pillows to choose from.

Amazing resort hotel, a hidden gem. Rooms have modern design, bed is very comfortable, and balcony has amazing sea view. (the view depends on the room type) Hotel has several pools (open and indoor), spa (you have to pay for it), gym, daily activities (if you want) and nice sunbathing area on the roof. Hotel staff was very friendly and polite. Breakfast was amazing, 10 out of 10, lots of options to eat. Area around the hotel is beautiful and quiet, two sandy beaches and several restaurants are in a walking distance; and a small park just across the street. You will for sure need a car to get to the hotel, because it's located about 50km away from the airport.
