I can’t say there was anything I didn’t like! The location was beautiful, parking easy, the spa amazing, my room and the view off the balcony was beautiful! Everything was very well thought out. I liked the refreshment stands on each floor, I thought it that was a really good touch! It wasn’t a massive hotel so getting around was super easy, the restaurants were lovely and the food, well, yum!! All the staff seemed very pleasant and friendly. Nothing was too much :) the spa area is phenomenal, so so relaxing! The outdoor pools and area are fabulous, if you enjoy nature then this is the place! I had a manicure whilst I was there and my therapist was lovely! Very friendly too. I don’t think I’ve felt that relaxed in a long time, thank you.

This place is, above all, full of history. The last emperor of Austria-Hungary, Blessed Charles Habsburg, stayed there with his wife, Servant of God Zita, and their family; the history of the castle is also related to, among others, the French Revolution. There is an old, very interesting chapel next to it. The castle is beautifully situated, overlooking the lake, surrounded by a vast, magnificent park; it has terraces, herb gardens and beautiful plants under the windows. Interesting interiors, especially historic staircase and the Silent Room. Family apartment consists of 2 rooms with a bathroom and a kitchenette; the apartment was very clean, well-equipped, with a nice view of the park and a side view of the lake. Breakfasts are plentiful and tasty. The price is high, but it is a castle after all!

I liked the rooms, they connected to each other so we could be with our kids together. The rooms were also big and comfortable, as well as the bathrooms. We loved the huge swimming pool and the Spa area. One of the best things are the sports classes like Pilates, Yoga and Aquafit in the mornings. We also could get the entrance tickets to Conny-land directly onsite and have a nice walk there and back to the hotel. And lastly, but also very important, the food in the restaurant was really delicious and the staff of the restaurant and of the hotel were very nice and helpful. Thank you to all the team for such a nice experience.

The location was wonderful, there are no beaches, but you can get in the water through docks with stairs. The lake is so clear! Unfortunately, we were in one of the few rooms with no balcony and no view. There was construction going on a property a few houses away so this woke us up if we had the window open. There are lots of jogging/walking trails and places to chill by the water. It's worth the expense for a special occasion as a middle-class person, it is on the very expensive side. For the two nights, we stayed there, we did feel like royalty.

This charming 4-star superior hotel offers comfortable, modern and traditional accommodation in Nonnenhorn at Bodensee (Lake Constance), just a short stroll from the train station.

Fabulous location with just a short walk to the lake and the train station across the road . The staff were delightful and attentive. Great breakfast. Our bedroom was located on the first floor of the new block - it was spacious and very modern with a lovely view of the gardens. Very comfortable bed.
