A good person I met explained everything to me. The property was clean and quiet in the gardens, where you can see many kinds of fruit, such as apple trees and grapes. People in the village are very helpful and cooperative. I recommend it.

never wrote a review in my life but what an amazing stay! hospitality was better then the hotels i usually stay in. bathroom and bed where clean and spacious. the family is so nice and helpful even though there was a language barrier, cause i don’t speak german lol, we still communicated. breakfast was the highlight of the stay in my opinion. they prepare so much food that it will leave you full throughout the day. and let’s not forget that it was delicious as well. the animals were a good addition to my holiday as well because the made me feel like i’m still at home in some way.

This place is, above all, full of history. The last emperor of Austria-Hungary, Blessed Charles Habsburg, stayed there with his wife, Servant of God Zita, and their family; the history of the castle is also related to, among others, the French Revolution. There is an old, very interesting chapel next to it. The castle is beautifully situated, overlooking the lake, surrounded by a vast, magnificent park; it has terraces, herb gardens and beautiful plants under the windows. Interesting interiors, especially historic staircase and the Silent Room. Family apartment consists of 2 rooms with a bathroom and a kitchenette; the apartment was very clean, well-equipped, with a nice view of the park and a side view of the lake. Breakfasts are plentiful and tasty. The price is high, but it is a castle after all!

The wellness area was exactly what one may need: clean, relaxed atmosphere, and fully equipped. The room was very clean and spacious, and we really appreciated the “pillow à la carte” option, which was a nice and thoughtful touch. We also had an excellent dinner at Lion d’Or. The staff was always friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. A special mention goes to the reception team for their kindness, to Maria for her warm and attentive service during dinner, and to Johnny at the bar for his friendliness and great attitude. Overall, a very pleasant and relaxing stay.

The location was wonderful, there are no beaches, but you can get in the water through docks with stairs. The lake is so clear! Unfortunately, we were in one of the few rooms with no balcony and no view. There was construction going on a property a few houses away so this woke us up if we had the window open. There are lots of jogging/walking trails and places to chill by the water. It's worth the expense for a special occasion as a middle-class person, it is on the very expensive side. For the two nights, we stayed there, we did feel like royalty.
