There is an outdoor fireplace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. I would rate it 11 if I could. A spacious villa uphill in the quiet countryside of Switzerland with everything a family needs. A massive garden overlooks the village with swings for children to play. The beds are so comfy that we almost fell asleep immediately. Clean everywhere. A lot of options for breakfast, even some homemade products. 3 bathrooms and toilets for the guests! One of the bathroom has a big bath tub. We only stayed 1 night so didn't have time to use it. The property has 2 floors and the land lady slept in an extended part on the ground floor. She took care of us and cleaned the table and kitchen after our dinner and breakfast. At first I felt a little awkward that the land lord was around. But she is so friendly and kind that you almost feel you are served by a caring mother and a granny of my kids. She couldn't speak English very well but still made the effort to chat with us using Google Translate. My wife and kids had been afraid of dogs for a long time due to negative experience from before, but her dog "Mo" gave us a calm and friendly feeling that my kids started to play with it the next morning. On our departure she gave us a full bag of food including home-made jams and bread to eat on our way home. What a hospitality! We feel home here and will never forget such a warm-hearted land lady!

What a lovely farm bnb. Our family of 6 fit perfectly in “Martha” and woke up to a beautiful view of the Alps. The host was wonderful to work with and kept us well informed. There were farm animals and plenty of games which kept the kids entertained. Nice shared kitchen space. A short drive (15 mins) to Bern.

The view was to die for, and Christine and Petra went above and beyond for us. I 100% recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the Interlaken area!

Guests can take in the views of the river from the balcony, which also has outdoor furniture. This apartment is allergy-free and non-smoking. Bathtub is amazing! Also the bed is very cozy and comfortable.The kitchen is very good, location and the view is great! The ladder is also very easy to go up very easy to carry a small luggage

Free WiFi access is provided in public areas. We stayed in the guard tower room, which is a bit different from most of the rooms in the hotel. It's right above the castle gate, with windows on 3 sides, but since the walls are 70cm thick and made of stone, it's very well insulated from noise. The conveniences/electrical system were slightly constrained by the fact that we were surrounded by thick stone, but they nonethless did a great job of making a beautiful, comfortable, and engagingly quirky room. Breakfast was also exceptional, with some of the best bread and pastry I've had in Switzerland.

The hotel is amazing and the views too. The staff was amazing too. The spa was complimentary. Nothing to fault if you're staying in Grindlewald this is worth the price tag.

It was my second time at this hotel, this time we had a lot of snow and the lake was beautiful. The room is comfortable with a very nice view, the staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a la carte and delicious. I didn't have dinner at the hotel. Free parking.
