From check-in the staff were polite and thorough in explaining the amenities of the resort. The complimentary access to the spa transformed my stay here especially considering the spa remained open until 10pm. I was able to get a delectable dinner and still was able to enjoy 30 mins in the relaxation sauna before bed. The best was the fact that the room was the comfy and large yet exceed my expectations with the exceptional design and ambiance set with luxury and relaxation. The complimentary breakfast was divine, and the variety was extensive but filling especially the bread pudding.

A spacious villa uphill in the quiet countryside of Switzerland with everything a family needs. A massive garden overlooks the village with swings for children to play. The beds are so comfy that we almost fell asleep immediately. Clean everywhere. A lot of options for breakfast, even some homemade products. 3 bathrooms and toilets for the guests! One of the bathroom has a big bath tub. We only stayed 1 night so didn't have time to use it. The property has 2 floors and the land lady slept in an extended part on the ground floor. She took care of us and cleaned the table and kitchen after our dinner and breakfast. At first I felt a little awkward that the land lord was around. But she is so friendly and kind that you almost feel you are served by a caring mother and a granny of my kids. She couldn't speak English very well but still made the effort to chat with us using Google Translate. My wife and kids had been afraid of dogs for a long time due to negative experience from before, but her dog "Mo" gave us a calm and friendly feeling that my kids started to play with it the next morning. On our departure she gave us a full bag of food including home-made jams and bread to eat on our way home. What a hospitality! We feel home here and will never forget such a warm-hearted land lady!

There were farm animals and plenty of games which kept the kids entertained. Nice shared kitchen space. A short drive (15 mins) to Bern.
