We really enjoyed the private spa stay in Sursee, It was truly a wonderful Experience. Future guests do check this place out. First its location is a bit odd, as it is situated in an industrial area, in an office building complex where there are other businesses. But once you enter the spa side of the building, you do enter a lovely space and you do quickly forget that you’re in an office complex. You get a lovely big whirlpool jacuzzi, a sauna, and an open walk-in shower. There is a fridge filled with drinks and snacks “not included in on the cost, which would have been nice, but still with the supplied price list, the costs are acceptable. There is a Bluetooth speaker, a tv, and two air conditioners. One for tempature and the other for humidity. We did not use the Bluetooth speaker or the TV, so we can’t comment on that. You get 4 towels and 2 bath robes. And for all you smokers out there, there is a seperated smoking room. Just around the corner from the building where the room is located is a truly fantastic restaurant called Barrage, great food, awesome atmosphere, lovely dinner spot, 2 min drive, or a short walk. We also did not opt to have food service, so no breakfast or dinner. Mainly because we wanted to go out for dinner, and you need to leave at 10am in the morning sharp!, which for us, as parents of many kids, never getting the opportunity to sleep late, meant we slept as late as we could, and if we were to have breakfast, we would have needed a later check out time, and so we opted to sleep late, leave at 10 have a late breakfast elsewhere. This place does come recommended, our stay was fantastic, the Jacuzzi, so nice. If your goal is to relax, this is a great place to do it. Quiet, peaceful, Private, you get your own space to just chill out, and that is exactly what we got, it was really wonderful, I enjoyed every second of it, and do highly recommend this place.

Seehotel Kastanienbaum welcomes you on the quiet Horw peninsula, a 15-minute drive from the old town of Lucerne. Everything was perfect. The view was amazing. The breakfast was wonderful. Close to the city (18 min. by bus and they provided a guest card/ticket for our convenience when commuting) but actually you feel like you are in the suburbs.Very clean and spacious rooms. They also let us leave our suitcases there after check out so that we could explore the city. We really wanted to stay more but everything was already booked.We just wish we didn't have to leave.
