The hotel is centrally located and very close to the main train station. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful with luxurious bathroom and toiletries. The included breakfast was amazing! I wish I could have stayed longer!

The host was truly wonderful – very kind, thoughtful, and genuinely welcoming. The house is beautifu and clean. Her dog is also incredibly friendly. We and our dog had a fantastic stay. The bed is very comfortable, and the breakfast is delicious. This stay was one of the highlights of our trip. Thanks for the great recommendations on places to visit – we really enjoyed them as well. She is a truly respectable and inspiring senior who deserves to be treated with the same sincerity and kindness she shows to her guests. We'd love to come back and stay at her warm and welcoming home again.

A very comfortable and familiar setting in a very beautiful farmland. Very nice to meet people and families with small kids and share with them. Kitchen and dining area is very well designed to eat and prepare your breakfast and dinner. Hosts are of utmost kindness and support.

Very clean, Nice location and very kind host

This place was really exceptional--I had never stayed in a tiny house and always wanted to. Everything was great. I also didn't know this part of Switzerland and it was a lovely drive (although the road felt a bit long and winding). I paid to also use the jacuzzi, and you should too :D

We've spent a week in Eggelried with a family of four (kids 4 and 7). The place is exceptional for many reasons: (1) Barbara and her family are wonderful hosts. We were so well taken care of (thank you, Barbara!) and, in the same time, we had all the privacy we needed. The communication (in EN and FR) was very efficient before, during and after our stay. (2) The apartment is spacious, clean, very practical, exceptionally well equipped (like home), with big cozy living room (toys!) and wonderful views from the windows all-around. There are anti-insects solutions (incl. nets on windows), so you are not bothered by flies. (3) The farm is beautiful. The garden offers a lot of playing opportunities for kids. The hot tub with the mountain/stars views was very relaxing. The big terrace offers you a possibility to eat outside. The variety of animals and the possibility for kids to engage in the farm work and feeding the animals was great - they've enjoyed it so much! Dogs usually have made my kids anxious, and it was also a case during the first days of our stay, but now, when I ask them what they've liked most during the holiday, the answer is: Simba and Blake! (4) The location is great. With detailed instructions given by the host, we have found the farm easily (despite darkness and fog). There was a covered parking place ready for us - very close to the entrance to the apartment, so it was logistically easy with luggage and kids. You can start you walking route from your front door - no need to get anywhere by car. The views around are stunning. There is a restaurant close to the farm (10 min walk). (5) The possibility to buy (for a very reasonable price) delicious fresh or homemade milk/bread/cheese/jams/butter...... was a highlight on top of everything above. It made our stay easy and care-free. We've got everything we needed and a lot of unexpected surprises too!

Everything in Miramont is absolutely idyllic. We were looking for a little hostel tucked away in the mountains where we could go horse riding and that is exactly what we found and much more. The place is run by a family where the owner, David, personally prepares breakfast and dinner for you (which is by the way amazingly delicious). They try to accommodate any need that you have and it’s clear that they are continuously working on the hostel to improve the experiences of their guests. The horses are lovely and super well trained and David is clearly very knowledgeable about them. My boyfriend and I were both beginners and our horses, Lucky and Duco, were super obedient and made us feel comfortable and safe for the whole ride. Sending a big thank you for such an amazing stay, we really hope to come back sometime soon!
