The Lausanne Palace’s leisure facilities include the Spa and the Aveda Beauty Centre, spreading over 2,100 m². The latter features an indoor pool, a hot tub, a hammam, a sauna, fitness equipment, and a Pilates centre. Massage treatments and balneotherapy are also available. Guests can also access the Yogi Booster Bar free of charge. The hotel had a large common area downstairs with a bar and light food options. We spent a lot of time there. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were luxurious and spacious.

The units in the bed and breakfast are equipped with a kettle. Every unit is equipped with a coffee machine and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower and bathrobes, while certain rooms come with a fully equipped kitchen fitted with a dishwasher. All units at the bed and breakfast are fitted with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a safety deposit box. Everything. The photos on the app don’t give this place justice. Fabulously renovated rooms with nice amenities such as locally made soaps and such, a Nespresso machine, robes and slippers. There is a pool and the hosts make you feel at home.

Units are complete with a shared bathroom, while certain units at the bed and breakfast also have a seating area. At the bed and breakfast, the units are fitted with bed linen and towels.

Skiing, cycling and hiking are possible within the area, and the bed and breakfast offers ski storage space. Chez Epicure felt very welcoming, comfortable and homely. It was a nice place to relax after walking on the Via Francigena, for which it is well situated. The hosts spent time talking with me and provided local information.

Enjoy the fitness, health and wellness facilities in the 2000 m² Fairmont Spa. Access to the Fairmont Spa is included in the room rate. It offers an indoor swimming pool, a hot tub, fitness room, sauna and hammam. I like everything was amazing experience definitely will come back!!

The Mirador Spa by Alpeor features a panoramic, heated indoor pool as well as a jacuzzi, hammam and sauna. It also features a wide range of treatments, including massages, body and skin care, and beauty rituals. Le Mirador Resort and Spa offer both historic rooms and modern ones, with air-conditioning, remote lighting controls and a multi-language plasma TV. There is also a marble bathroom in every room. Everything was just perfect and we will definitely come back soon.

The surroundings, the nature, the traditional rooms with lots of wooden windows, the breakfast, the birds chirping day and night, the quietness, the team’s hospitality….everything was great!

The majestic Victoria Hotel can be found in Glion above Montreux (connected by funicular) and is renowned for its breathtaking views of Lake Geneva and the snow-capped Alps.

You wake up to breathtaking waterfront views over Lake Geneva and the Alps every morning. The hotel staff is the absolute best. As someone with celiac disease, I was really moved by the staff's careful attention to my dietary requirements. The restaurant went above and beyond to ensure safe, gluten-free dining options for me without compromising on taste or presentation. I couldn't have asked for a better stay.

Boasting a Nintendo Wii, the spacious apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, an oven and a microwave, a living room with a seating area and a dining area, 3 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms with a walk-in shower and a hot tub. The unit is air conditioned and is comprised of a patio with an outdoor dining area as well as a flat-screen TV with streaming services. This apartment is allergy-free and non-smoking. The location is excellent. 30 minutes outside Geneve in the direction of Lausanne. There are 3 bedrooms all with excellent beds and good quality bedding. The kitchen is very well equipped with all you require for a comfortable stay. There is a air fryer and microwave/ grill over, conduction hob and washing machine. Chris and Gioia provide a most welcome welcome pack with water, milk butter, bread and jam and a bottle of local wine. The toilet and shower room are separate which is useful for a family of 4, and there is a sauna in the shower room, which we used once and regretted not using more! The property also has a hot tub which is an awesome way to relax after a hard day's sight seeing. There is also another surprise in the property in the form of a table that converts into a pool table or table tennis table. This was also used to its full advantage. The Denner supermarket is 5 min walk away and has everything you need, meat and veg. milk etc. There was no need to go to another Supermarket but there are bigger supermarkets in Gland or Nyon which are both about 15 in away by car. There is a lovely boulerangerie 5 mins walk away as well for pastries and fresh bread. There is a pizza takeaway at the bottom of the road which makes delicious pizza. The other villages around have plenty of restaurants if you want to eat out. Prices are similar to Ireland for eating out and for groceries, remember to add the exchange rate. We used Revolut and bought CHF with no fees. The location is excellent for exploring the area around Lake Geneva.
