As a German tourist, this was the first hotel during my vacation. The location is superb, in a street that looks like a modern oasis in the old-town of Suzhou. Also there are banks close to the hotel where cash money can be withdrawn. When arriving we also booked breakfast for 11€ per day per person which was totally worth it. A great selection of noodles, fried egg, soup with the local Suzhou noodles, cappuccinos, fruits, and other things I do not remember. Their rooms had working electronics and controls for AC lights and a TV (which I point out here since other hotels had problems during our stay.) In total I fully recommend this hotel - the price is justified and especially if this is your first trip to China and you need a safe place, this is it!
