GermanyThe hotel and rooms were very nice and exactly as in the pictures. The location is perfect, near the main square and there was a parking. Milena and Francisco who are running the hotel were very nice.
The breakfast was very tasty (eggs to your liking, fresh orange juice, hot drink and croissant). For our tasting it could be a little bit bigger.

AustraliaMongui is a beautiful town and the paramo and surrounding pueblos are so unique and beautiful. We had a great time at sun Luis. We were made to feel welcome, the staff helped us with anything we required without any problems. They organised a great guide for the paramo (Juan) and were happy to prepare us some food for the hike. I have travelled through hundreds of towns in Colombia over the years , Mongui is my fav and san luis hotel is without doubt the best hotel I have stayed in. You can have a great looking hotel, but without great staff it’s nothing. 10/10 for this hotel.

We are a family of 4 (kids our 8 and 5 years old). Our plan was to visit different places around Boyaca, but with all the hotel had to offer we ended up spending more time relaxing there.
We played tennis, went for walks, used the pool, visited the farm, took the kids on a horse ride. There was lots we didn’t do as well.
The prices in the restaurants are more than reasonable. We would drive into to Paipa for one of our meals to mix it up.
In summary, we loved our stay and it was great value for money.

The swimming pool and spa part were wonderful. Also the views on the surroundings were very pretty. It is not really close to the village, you need a taxi to get there, but you don’t want to leave the pool. Breakfast was good and the people very friendly. Beds were comfortable.

Everything was great, the location with a beautiful view of the mountain. The jacuzzi was perfect with hot water, bed huge and comfortable, kitchen well equipped, lovely fireplace, very friendly owners. We would love to return one day.

The domes were exceptionally clean and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was varied between traditional Colombian and international favorites like tamales and waffles, and it is brought to your deck. A free bottle of wine is included with your stay. There is a new jacuzzi, sauna, and massage area. The have a bonfire at night. It is close enough to Mongui, Lago Tota, and Paipa to make easy day trips.

Everything was AMAZING!!! I Thank God I met Pablo (both the owner and the son). He helped us with everything. I felt like I was at home with how he was helping us. The staff were amazing. Customer service was the best even though we didn't speak Spanish lol. If I come back I'll make sure to come here. Even if I don't come back I hope this review finds everyone looking for a stay that feels welcoming!
