Perfect hostel to stay in Villa de Leyva. It's near the main square, walkable from bus station. The hostel itself is really clean. You can use the kitchen as well. Wifi is fast. They also provide bicycle for rental, as well as free towel to use, and soap bar. The hostel also has some lounge to relax, yet at night its quiet (good for resting). The lady owner is one of the nicest person I've ever talked to. I had a great memory here, and wish to comeback again someday.

Leo is a fantastic host, very lovely, brings up delicious coffee every morning. I had the family room that is very spacious especially for just one person, but it feels nice to have some more space for yourself sometimes. The bathroom is very modern, with a good warm shower. Internet was very good The area is quiet as it's a little bit further from the main square which I really liked. It can get a little chilly at night, but she bedsheets are thick and comfy so you'll be warm. Beautiful view onto the mountains from the backyard!

The breakfast was fantastic. There were several options to choose from and everything was made to order. They even remember the food allergies of some of the people in our group and avoided those items. We really enjoyed the onsite spa facilities and the private jacuzzis in our suite. The live music in the evening was a nice bonus to enjoy a drink and meal on the terraza. The rooms were well appointed with luxury bath products and very comfortable bedding. We will definitely return to Hotel El Carmel.

Cute hotel in the middle of Villa de Leyva, great loction. From here you can easily visit the whole village. It has a private parking space. And a patio where you can relax for hours. It's a budget hotel, don't expect anything fancy. Communication with the owner was easy and they reacted very fast.

Spacious and clean rooms, impeccable bathroom, close to city centre and to shops/restaurants. The breakfast is nice.

Great location in the heart of Villa de Leyva yet tranquil and quiet place. Room was spacious and good temperature, neither hot nor cold. Bathroom floor appeared to be heated! Hot water worked well.

The Hotel is set in a very beautiful surroundings, along the lake and with nice hiking possibilities close. The food in both restaurants and also breakfast buffet excelent. Staff very nice and helpful. Also nice the small private jacuzzis of thermal water, which you can use once a day for 30 minutes (more than enough and never had an issue to get a spot), We enjoyed all these parts of the hotel and beside of some things we did not really like, we would come back. A good price-quality balance is also to mention.
