The rooms are good, beds comfy and breakfast is excellent. We stay in this hotel on our way from Holland to Italy. You can also eat in the restaurant. This is closed on Sunday but within 100m there are two other places to eat, both really good. We will stay again.

We loved that the hotel provides free public transport in the region. Sebastian and the rest of team definitely made our stay that much more enjoyable! They were so welcoming and friendly and just brilliant at their job. The rooms were a great size with amazing views from the back by and all the windows. They were also really soundproof, did not hear a door close or anyone in the hallway the whole time. The shower/bathroom was a good size. Tv had casting which was great considering all the tv channels were mostly in German which we didn't speak. The breakfast was delicious. And we stayed in for cocktail night on Friday night which was sooo tasty!

This spa and golf hotel features its own golf course and wellness area with indoor pool. It lies 2 km from Oberstaufen town centre and offers free parking. We had a wonderful time at the Johanneshof. The rooms are spacious and bright with lots of power plugs and a big wardrobe. WiFi and TV work well. You can even choose your preferred pillow. The breakfast is delicious. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The two and a half saunas (60°, 90°, plus infrared) as well as the pool and the fresh water tubs are great for relaxing. The complementary water, tea and nuts / dried fruits are a very welcome addition. Every other day the hotel organises an activity for free (yoga, guided walks, etc). Parking is available behind the house and an EV charger is located on ground (Chargepoint, to be paid, currently 57c). Massages can be booked as well. The hotel doesn't have its own restaurant, but there are numerous great options in a 5 min driving radius or a 25 min walking distance. The complementary Oberstaufen plus card allows you to use public transport and ski lifts, visit museums, participate in activities, etc.

We had the most wonderful and relaxing stay. The staff are all excellent, from the check in counter, to the doorman, the waiter and waitress as well as the spa. I recommend trying the reflexology treatment at the spa.
