레이크디스트릭트에서 엿새간의 휴가를 이 호텔에서 보냈다. 엠블사이드의 중심부에 위치한 이 호텔의 위치는 버스나 도보로 주요한 이 지역을 둘러보는데 더할 나위 없이 좋은 자리에 있었다. 호텔은 오래 되었지만 시설은 전반적으로 잘 관리되고 있었고 휴양지 호텔로서 편안한 시설과 분위기를 제공하고 있었다. 메뉴로 제공되면서 부페가 같이 있는 아침 식사도 만족스러웠다. 스파와 수영장, 헬스장은 잘 관리되고 있었으며 사용에 불편함이 없었다. 가성비 측면에서 충분히 추천할만한 숙소이다.
