The owners were lovely and Andrea the host (son) was wonderful, so helpful and charming. The location was great, easy walk to the seafront and a nice supermarket next door to buy snacks, wine, beer, etc. The breakfast was more than anticipated with a variety of choices that changed every day. Aside from cereal, cold cuts, cheeses etc they offered a cooked breakfast of bacon and eggs. It was also a treat to have a full size shower as so many places we have stayed in Italy have mini sized showers. Also conveniently located about 2 blocks from the bus station.

Very elegantly designed rooms ( we stayed at Mirto room) which could easily fit to 5 star rating. Maria at breakfast was always making sure all our needs are fulfilled. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful with local pastry varieties. Secure private parking in front of accommodation. We felt very welcomed here. Highly recommend the place, but it is ideal if having the car at disposal to move around.

Set in Taranto, La Dimora Degli Dei is a recently renovated accommodation, 700 metres from National Archaeological Museum of Taranto Marta and 400 metres from Taranto Cathedral. The property has sea and city views, and is 200 metres from Castello Aragonese. The accommodation offers a hot tub, free WiFi throughout the property and family rooms. It was a very nice and clean apartment in the ancient part of the city. Close to main attractions, train station. The bus stop of public transport is 3 minutes walking distance far from the apartment. The personel was very polite and responsive. Cleaning service was delivered after the first night even though we didn't expect. Breakfast is served in the terrace on the rooftop. We definitely would stay there again if we come back to Taranto.
