It was a really nice place. I arrived late because I had some sightseeing to do, but I enjoyed the tatami room, bath, and breakfast. The staff were very friendly, and the area is surrounded by woods and ocean. Fukui is a very special area that not many people see, so I recommend visiting it if you get the chance.

We had an amazing 4 nights in Imajo! It felt like the perfect retreat for calming our minds and bodies after big cities. Our room in Kawabataya was beautiful, big and clean and the blankets were the fluffiest we've ever had. The hosts were amazing and took us to a lunch place with a car when it was raining. Also the breakfasts and dinners were out of this world, hands down the best we've had during our trip. The bath was great and kept us warm during the winter storms. Imajo definitely was one of the highlights during our trip, thank you for having us!😍
