Otherwise you will need a car to reach the other resorts. Thank you for your help in regards to the stuff I left at the Hostel. I will be back !

Close to the main road, amazingly friendly staffs, good size room with bath. Fridge, washing machine, ensuite bath, big kitchen space were available. We had 4 single beds in our room and was big enough for all 4 of us. The bed was comfortable too. The onsen in the shared area was also nice. You had to make reservations in advance to secure a 45min slot. One was only inside but the other had both inside and outside baths.

Delightful in every way. Long to go back in the winter to see Il Bosco buried in snow. The wonderful owners, Naomi and Koki, could not be more hospitable. So helpful and kind. Freshly baked bread at breakfast and great pasta for dinner. I feel very nostalgic about my stay.

We first stayed here back in 2019 and even thought the ownership has changed the hotel’s still very welcoming and is a great place to stay. This time we had one of the cabins in the forest rather than staying in the main hotel. The apres-ski in the lounge is a nice bonus.They offer a shuttle to Happo-One and Iwatake and back & the ski-bus to Hakuba 47 stops at the end of the driveway, so it’s easy for skiing. The staff couldn’t be more cheerful or helpful so all in all a very nice Christmas break.
