Opened in April 2017, Hakone Kowakien Tenyu offers Japanese-style rooms with tatami flooring, an open-air bath or ceramic open-air hot springs bath made with Shigaraki pottery. Everything was absolutely great ! Me and my husband had an excellent time.

Staffs were very nice, the location was comfy as well. The room has no windows but it was very nice to rest and sleep. Wish that the breakfast has more options but all in all everything was good.

Surrounded by nature in Hakone, the Senkyoro Ryokan boasts a terrace and an open-air hot spring overlooking the mountains. Free WiFi is available in the lobby area. We stayed for 1 night in a Japanese-style room, which was gorgeous: authentic-feeling and spacious, immaculate and with all the amenities you could need. The futons were incredibly comfortable, and the yukata and sleepwear provided were a nice touch. The service was phenomenal, from the moment we arrived. The staff were all incredibly welcoming, thoughtful and helpful, making every effort to make our stay memorable. The private onsen was beautiful and peaceful, the perfect way to relax after a day of sightseeing and activities.
