Featuring a fitness centre, bar and views of river, Villa Fontaine Premier Haneda Airport is set in Tokyo and connected to Haneda Airport Terminal 3. Great location close to the airport. It was a little tricky to find from the Train Station. Signage could be improved.

Composed of 2 buildings, The Okura Tokyo boasts a garden and bar. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and room service, along with free WiFi. Impeccable service. Had a mishap with my parking that was my mistake due to the language barrier. The staff especially Onose san and Yoshihara san went out of their way to help me. Will be staying here again and again.

Opened in April 2017, Hakone Kowakien Tenyu offers Japanese-style rooms with tatami flooring, an open-air bath or ceramic open-air hot springs bath made with Shigaraki pottery. Amazing breakfast. Onsens were heaven.

We were 4 persons, there was enough space for all of us. The house was clean and easy to access. Since it’s winter, it’s cold inside the house but there are a lot of blankets and AC to make up for it. There is a big parking area that is free. The bathroom has a small onsen, so it smells a bit like sulfur inside the house. We loved this accommodation.

Hiroshi is a very thoughtful and kind man. We stayed at his beautiful traditional Japanese house and slept on very comfortable futons. He has a small private "onsen", which he prepared for us daily so we could bathe in hot water after returning from our day-trips. He adjusted to our schedules and picked and dropped us off at the station each day. He also recommended several restaurants (even reserved a table for us at one) and a traditional mountain onsen. Highly recommended, we hope to return someday.
