Everything: room was spacious, clean, nice balcony. Facilities were great such as the indoor pool, sauna, gym. Breakfast was great.

Located in one of Malta’s top vacation destinations, this hotel stands out as one of the best on the island. The staff are exceptionally welcoming, the cleanliness and amenities are of the highest standard, and the food is of excellent quality. I will definitely return and highly recommend it.

The room was huge, nice view in the balcony. Comfortable bed and good noise isolation. We enjoyed the heated pool outside during the day and indoor pool, and sauna in the evening.

I can’t recommend Hotel Alba enough – staying here was an absolutely brilliant experience! A massive plus is how intimate the hotel feels. You have all the mod cons and amenities you’d expect (cleaning, pool, reception, breakfast options, a chill-out garden and a open-space for reading or games), yet it’s wonderfully peaceful. You hardly notice other guests; it feels very private and exclusive. We arrived quite late in the evening (well after reception had packed up for the night), but the hotel was brilliant and sorted everything out for us in advance. It was completely faff-free to get inside, so we could just crash out immediately. Also, on the day we checked out, we were able to leave our bags for a few hours free of charge, which was really handy. The décor deserves a special mention. It’s set in a gorgeous old townhouse that’s been beautifully preserved, but the interior is properly modern and atmospheric. We stayed in a room with a terrace and a bathtub in the main living space. A thoughtful touch for travellers: the sockets included USB-C, USB-B, and universal plugs (compatible with EU, UK, and US standards) – a real lifesaver if you’re coming from across Europe. The tech was spot on too, with a Smart TV (Netflix included), and the King-size bed was extremely comfortable (extra pillows were available if needed). The Wi-Fi worked a treat. The room layout was a bit of a surprise – you actually enter through the bathroom! It’s a huge, open-plan space with no door separating the bedroom from the tub area. The bath itself is massive, modern, and perfect for a long soak. It’s a chic and modern setup, though definitely one suited for couples. That said, the shower and loo have separate doors for privacy. The shower is very spacious with endless hot water – plenty of room for two. Full toiletries (large body wash and shampoo) were provided, which was grand.
