The homestay is run by Mr. Jo and Mrs. Salina, wonderful elderly couple. They have a huge bungalow built beside a stream, opposite to a mosque. It is a very quite and serene place. They rent out rooms in this bungalow for guest and the per night cost is really reasonable. The rooms are very clean and luckily my room had the view of the front porch where I had parked my bike :). They have setup some coffee tables beside the stream, where you can enjoy the evening coffee. I had some good conversation with Mr. Jo and Mrs. Salina and they made me feel very homely, during my stay 🙂 Thank you, Mr. Jo and Mrs. Salina. This was our stop from KL to Wang Kelian Immigration as we were heading to Krabi. From here to Wang Kelian Immigration was only 20 minutes. To Gua Kelam was less than 10 minutes. The entire homestay consist of 4 bedrooms (1 quadruple + 3 triple) but we only booked for 3. However the super friendly host gave us permission to use all 4 bedrooms with no additional charges. We were there just after CNY so the host gave our kids angpow and a box of mandarin oranges. There were 2 bathrooms so no issues if you're going in big groups like us. Smart TV, iron with board, built-in hot shower, big refrigerator, water filter, oven toaster and all rooms equipped with AC. Pillows and mattresses were comfortable too. There were also gymnasium, indoor mini pool, sauna room & karaoke. A highly recommended place!
