I enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Clarion and recommend it. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The room was very spacious, clean, cozy, and nicely decorated. I booked a room with a view, and it was absolutely worth it. The breakfast had everything; you couldn't ask for more. The location is very central and near the main landmarks. In addition, the relax area is very spacious and clean and the restaurant on the top floor was also very good with a nice view of the city.

Stayed overnight travelling from Norway to Sweden and the location was convenient as just 10 mins from E6. Driving up to the hotel provides great views of the fortress. Nice outdoor areas to enjoy the sunset. The room was spacious and modern. Free parking.

A relaxing way to travel between countries! Check in was super easy, all the staff very friendly. The room was in a great location on the boat, and we had access to the Commodore Lounge with snacks and drinks. Excellent value as the room also included Breakfast

The hotel is great, there's a huge lounge where you can relax, there's a lot to do around the hotel as well. The food was amazing and breakfast was one of the best we ever had in a hotel.
