We were in the big appartment T2 and felt really like home, as it has all facilities you need. The kitchen is well equipped (we cooked a lot, as you get local fresh fish in Madalena for very good price). There are also barbecue facilities which we didn't use because it was rainy. You have an ocean view from every room and we really enjoyed those views, also watching the waves on a rainy day. We used the whirlpool too, which is shared by all the apartments. On most days, we were the only guests. The whirlpool has a sea view too, however, you cannot see much from there, as the cover is fogged up because of the steam. Stilm, the cover is good as it protects you from rain and wind. There are some cats outside coming and asking for food :) One day, we had a visit of lizards between the stones of one of the walls. Apparently, they were hiding from the rain (it was pouring outside). A washing machine and a dryer are available in the laundry room. All in all: you have everything you need there. And also, the apartment is just nice: very good design additionally to the views that you have.

Helen and Vera did everything to make our trip as pleasant as possible so we felt right at home in the guesthouse. The guesthouse is in a good location with great views over the ocean. The suite we stayed in is spaceous and comfortable. The breakfast was super good with local products and Helen and Vera made something special (pancakes, banana bread, etc.) every day to surprise us. Breakfast is served on a covered outside patio where we sat at a round table with the other guest, which we enjoyed a lot. We met nice and interesting people and had great conversations. Helen and Vera also gave us great tips for restaurants, sights and even running trails. We stayed at the guesthouse for nine days and really loved it. We highly recommend it.

The place was a great getaway, the atmosphere was very quiet and relaxing, and it was nice getting a whole house to yourself. The staff were very friendly and quickly responded to every message I sent them. Would definitely recommend!

PicoTerrace is a very speacial und unique place to stay at! The view of the sea in the front and Pico mountain in the back of the house is unbeatable! The house is beautifully furnished, very comfortable and clean. We would definitely recommend to stay there when visiting Pico!

The property was incredible - ocean views in the front and mountain views in the back. A short walk down the road to an incredible vineyard. The hot tub was a perfect way to end our day and the decor was incredible. We had everything we needed and more.

To be surrounded by the sounds of nature, being able to watch the birds, play with the cat or interact with the cutest donkeys you’ll ever see felt just like paradise to us. Plus, the owner Miguel is so welcoming and an interesting person, while being very respectful of your privacy. He lives right next door and is always available for any questions you might have. We can truly recommend staying here! You won’t regret it.

Located in a small bay of the Azorean island of Pico, the design Pocinhobay offers individually decorated rooms facing Faial Island. It is located a 10-minute drive from Madalena village. This place is a paradise. A wonderfull garden where you can enjoy a coffee or a glass of wine while reading a book or listening your thoughts…or the ocean. For us, it was the ideal place to spend our holiday and we will return next year.

Beautiful rooms and facilities. We enjoyed using the spa and chilling out at the pool. The staff were very helpful at arranging a taxi for us. Recommended.
