The wellness area at Arctic Gourmet Cabin is comprised of a sauna and a hot tub. The host, Johan, was really nice and hospitable and the location itself was lovely as it was remote and allowed us to gaze up at the aurora without light pollution getting in the way. Unfortunately I believe those were the only two reasons I was not entirely disappointed with my choice.

Spread across 3 buildings, Ripan's cosy, chalet-style rooms have private entrances and bathrooms with showers. You will also find a private ski storage.

The Aurora Spa can be accessed for a surcharge. Ski tracks and hiking trails are right next door. Snowmobiling, ice fishing and dog sledding are popular in winter. Summer leisure options include horse riding, guided city tours and hiking. Great place to stay in kiruna, the restaurant (breakfast and dinner) are amazing. The Sauna is also great! but you need to book well in advance! Room sizes are good, but there was no closet space! Overall i would definately recommend staying here!

The staff is more than helpful and always went the extra mile. Breakfast was grand with lots of options. The dinners were beyond delicious and presented beautifully.

Grand Hotel Lapland has an in-house bowling alley, an open-kitchen steakhouse restaurant and a café bar. During the summer months, guests have access to an outdoor, rooftop swimming pool with a hot tub, and the Skybar. It is right beside the bus station. Not far from restaurants neither but the in-house cafe by the reception is amazing. Breakfast is good too. Room itself is standard. The front desk is very kind and helpful.
