The in-house breakfast buffet and the Aurora spa were really amazing. Do take out some time for the spa/sauna facilities to get that relaxation experience. Even the entry to the sauna is quite cool with the mini-waterfall effect. The rooms are well-equipped as well, and you can park your car right next to the door. We saw quite a few animals nearby (hares and deer), and there are good hiking paths and snow-show paths nearby. Wintersports are obviously a plus-point here.

Location excellent for viewing Northern Lights and close to the train station and supermarket. Room, kitchen and bathroom were clean and to have a lounge/dining area was a relief given the size of our room.

Transfer included is super helpful and can include a detour to downtown Kiruna to get some groceries. Owner is very knowledgeable and provides great advice for area and activities to do. Short walk across the river (in winter when frozen) to visit the Sámi museum and Ice Hotel. Very quiet and peaceful. Igloo is equipped with most necessities and the lounge caters to all other needs (i.e. full kitchen and showers/bathroom). Breakfast included is always nice. Great place to view northern lights.

Aurora River Camp is in a very nice position, in 20 min walking it is possible to reach the Ice Hotel and the Siida Sami museums. The supermarket is also located in between these two. We spent one night in a glass igloo, very cozy. It was an amazing experience. The use of sauna was also included, absolutely recommended! The lounge was clean and cozy, with three bathrooms where was possible to take a shower (which for obvious reasons of space is not present in the igloo!). Breakfast was good.

Well located to the train station with a lovely, lit up, 30 min walk to the tourist station if and when needed. The local supermarket (with plenty of vegan options) within 5 min walk, the sauna option, small gift store and hire of equipment made this a very handy 'hub' to be staying at. We were welcomed before the check in hour, to use the lounge, baggage store and kitchen facilities until the room was ready and everything was efficient in operations yet relaxed, and always clean.
