Situated at the base of the wild Tsitsikamma Mountains, The Fernery overlooks an impressive 30-metre waterfall in the Sanddrift River gorge. Most beautiful location. The view was breathtaking and the facilities were amazing. Friendliest staff, had such a great stay.

Loved every minute of it and can't wait to go back. Beautiful setting and views and the stars was something special to see! The hot tub was an absolute hit with the kids and us and the hammock is also such a nice added bonus. Friendly host ready with ice and wood and even snacks if needed. Comfy and clean beds (even extra length!) and tent fully equipped with anything you can possibly need and more! One of the best weekends away!

We chilled out the first afternoon on a private patio overlooking a delightful garden. Our favorite coffee/lunch shop was only a block or so away. The apartment is so beautifully located between the mountains and is so spacious. It is next to the hosts house and garden, however there’s enough privacy. They invited us to see the South-African rugby game with them and heated the hottub for us. We even met their newest family member: a puppy!

Offering an intimate Big 5 safari experience, Quatermain's 1920's Safari Camp features a boma bonfire and BBQ facilities. It is located in the Amakhala Game Reserve. We did the cave overnight and wow!! What an amazing experience! It surpassed all expectations. We did a walking safari with 10 rhino, heard the lion roar in the cave, had the best dinners ever, saw all kinds of animals on the game drives and really enjoyed our hot tub. This place was stunning!! A lovely time to unplug and enjoy nature.

Nestled in the tranquil surroundings of Maitland Nature Park, Thunzi Bush Lodge offers country style, self-catering accommodation with traditional décor and a balcony with forest views. The place was well kept and very nice views of the bush from the Charlet. We quite enjoyed the hiking trail which was a good distance to walk.
