Beautiful place, fantastic walk around the lake.
Beautiful place, fantastic walk around the lake. Peppers Resort was great, we stayed in a resort room with a Jacuzzi on the balcony and the staff even built us a snowman on the balcony railing. It had snowed the day before we arrived and the landscape was beautiful.

Rustic cosy cabin that kept us warm and dry despite strong cold winds, rain, hail and sleet. Good location to Cradle Mountain shuttle pick up (very short drive).

Staff were wonderful; laundry had free facilities and washing powder; fireplace lounges throughout the hotel were wonderful; lounge, bar and restaurant were fabulous; breakfast buffet choices were delicious and catered to a broad array of preferences; close to Cradle Mountain Info Centre and shuttle busses into the park.

Gorgeous little hut, with beautiful views outside the windows. So cosy after a cold and wet day at Cradle Mountain. Fantastic location. The Bushman's Hut may be small but was well equipped and had everything we needed. Wish we'd stayed an extra night, one night was not enough! Highly recommend.

The distance to the entrance to the epic Cradle Mountain National Park is the killer feature of this comfy hotel: 5 minutes. The property has nice chill spaces with fireplaces and gaming/social areas to escape the hotel room vibe. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful. Food was tasty. But again the proximity to the entrance of the park was killer.

The staff went out of their way from check in to make sure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Special mention to Charlie, Andy and Andres and the main general manager (whose name escapes me, apologies!). Proximity to Cradle Mountain is wonderful. Bathrooms are lovely. Heaters in the room worked perfectly against the Tasmanian cold, we were toasty warm! Make sure to spend some time in the hotels art gallery, it's a hidden gem.

We love the closeness to Cradle Mountain but the limited space. Unlike PEPPERS up the road, we find this resort to be less crowded. We always stay in the spa chalet, for its small comfort and the fact you can have a spa after walking some of the most beautiful hiking tracks in the world. The bed is also heated to keep you cozy at night! We also love the fact now you have a small take away menu, so you don't have to go to the restaurant!
