Breakfast and afternoon eats were amazing. Local dishes the traditional "bolo"(cake with many flavors, bananas, chocolate, and many more. The room was spacious, very comfortable, and clean. The rooms have a safe,, coffee maker and a mini fridge. You have to pay for bottled water as Brazilian water is not safe to drink out of the tap. The pousada has a partnership with a local tour agency. They provided transport to the pousada and offered a package with 4 amazing tours of the island for a very reasonable price. It was definitely much cheaper than the other tours. Dona Marlucia was very welcoming and will arrange and help with anything. She can arrange for the rental of a bugre the main type of car rental on the island. The restaurant Cacimba is a 2 min walk and is a must on the island. There is a supermarket 2 min walk. The main village is 8 to 10 min walk. There is a bus stop, a 100-yard from the pousada that will take you anywhere on the island. The internet for the most part was OK. There was one day that the internet appeared to be down for the entire island.
