Location is amazing, great walking distance to everything. Check in was super easy and so was the access to the parking garage. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful when we asked for dinning recommendations. Great place to stay for a weekend getaway!

Loved the place, location, cleanliness, views, hospitality, proximity to Banff Gondola. Primrose was a great place for breakfast and Larkspur for drinks and Hors d'oeuvres.
If you are traveling and plan to stay in Banff National Park, there are several "high end" Hotels / Resorts. The Rim Rock is one of them. It is near the Banff Gondola and Hot Springs and convenient to the Bus that runs every 20 minutes or so to the center of Banff. The Views are incredible and the amenities are super. Not the cheapest place, but one of the best. Highly recommended for that "special" trip ... great in Winter as well as Summer.
The breakfast is very good. It is a complete healthy meal. The location is excellent. You can walk around the downtown. It is also close to Banff Gondola..Parking is really good as it is hard to find parking in downtown. It is also included in our payment of the place.
The staff was friendly and helpful. Even before we departed the United States, the hotel 'concierge' swiftly and successfully booked Banff gondola tickets through Pursuit and bus transfers from/to Calgary and between Banff and Lake Louise with Brewster Express! Although the Royal Canadian Lodge was one of the hotels located furthest away from town, it was a relatively short walk there, and the shuttle stop was steps from the front door.
Great location! Shuttle to ski resorts picks up in the parking lot behind the hotel. We used the rooftop hot tubs every day after skiing. All the best restaurants are in walking distance. We caught the Roam bus across the street to get to the Banff Gondola.
Very friendly staff and decent sized room for a family of 4 (2x teens). Walking distance to the Banff Gondola and Hotspring. The stay comes with bus pass which saved us some driving to downtown Banff (avoid the hassle of finding parking)
