I can't say enough nice things about Hotel Stabbach. From the first booking to checking out, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay fabulous. We have a waterfall room that was beyond description. From morning to night this view was wonderful. As a bonus, the hotel provides coffee and tea in their breakroom. In the evening we would take our coffee and sit at the outside tables. The hotel offered local maps of the area and even made dinner reservations for us. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The Edelweiss hotel can be found in calm surroundings, a 4-minute walk away from the train station in the car-free village of Wengen. The hotel offers cozy rooms and free WiFi.

An Unforgettable and Lovely Stay We had a wonderful and memorable stay at Hotel Edelweiss. We stayed for 5 nights, and from day one, we immediately felt at home. The staff were very kind and engaging, and the treatment felt very personal. There was a free wine and cheese tasting (from the hotel owner Daniel’s own cow, Udina). We enjoyed the four-course dinner so much that we decided to have dinner there every day. The cheese fondue (also from Udina) was impeccable, as well as the BBQ on our last evening. Additionally, we really enjoyed the private sauna, which you can reserve in advance. I am very thankful and touched by the treatment of the staff that I had to leave another review on Google! It is a beautiful property. It’s located perfectly and the amenities are good. The restaurant is amazing! We had the family room and I wish we had air conditioning because despite the cool temperature outside, our room got pretty warm. We opened the windows but the wind wasn’t blowing our way and bugs were getting in. Beds are comfortable, there are closets for hanging your clothes, there is a coffee maker and a kettle. Staff is friendly and they drove our luggage to the train station because you don’t want to push it up the hill even though only a few minutes walk from the train station.

Hotel Schönegg is a 3-star superior hotel located right in the center of car-free Wengen, which is only reachable by train.

Incredible hotel with views over the valley. Was perfect for three days. Staff is very friendly, room was great, comfortable beds, dinner was great. 10/10!

The staff was excellent. The cleanliness was fabulous. The breakfast was good. The lobby and restaurant were comfortable, minimalist but classy. The view from the front of the building garden and room balconies, spectacular.
