Breakfast was "good". Very little hot food. But nice fresh bread and pastries. Lots of fruits, meats and cheeses. We would have loved to help ourselves to coffee but the staff got it for us when they had a chance! Overall, good!

The hotel is situated near one of the clock towers a short walk to the Munster. The building is architecturally beautiful. Very old but very well maintained. Super warm, cosy room with extremely comfortable beds. A nicely presented breakfast with plenty of choice. We may return to Freiburg and will stay here again if we do. Helpful and attentive staff.

Location was great only a few minutes walk to the market place and Minster. The parking was good in a multi-storey with access to hotel via lift. The staff were great and very helpful. Rooms were clean and well appointed.
