This street was like a dream ! Who wants to go to the mall when you gave all these small souvenir shops cafe s chocolate shops ice cream parlors. One can shop or just sit and breathe in the action that's going around you . A MUST to visit ,,
We stayed in a huge 2 bedroom apartment called Skindergade 21 it was right behind Stroget St so it was awesome to have all of the high end shops and huge big department stores plus all of the smaller shops so close to our apartment...their are lots of restaurants, coffee shops and eateries in Stroget. The only thing if it is a rainy day there is not much cover but this is why we chose this area as it is so close in walking distance to everything loved it!!
Main shopping street and lots of luxury shops along the street. If possible, visit Illum -store, where you can buy lots of luxury products. Many luxury shops have their own boutique along the street. Nice cafe (Cafe Norden and La Glace) also great place to ”hygge”
Fabulous cobbled walking street that winds it's way between all kinds of shops, fashion houses, cafes, courtyards, hot dog vendors (the worlds best), fountains, places to get a coffee, or a beer, or an ice cream. Pretty much just a pedestrian mall but with a great vibe.
Tempting - suggest leave credit cards & cash in hotel safe ! or spend & hope to win the lottery when you come home. Conditoris La Glace & Antoinette are must visits - what's the point of a diet if you don't put the weight on first ! - enjoy
Rail station Kongens Nytorv with direct access into the largest store Magazin, Stroget is probably one of the longest shopping streets you will ever find and can be very busy and leads you to Tivoli Gardens
As we were accompanied by a small child, our opportunities for shopping were rather limited! But we did enjoy strolling along the Strøget and visiting the Christmas Market.
